Christmas Letter

Merry Christmas!


There has been lots that has happened these past two years! Yes I said two, I was a slacker last year and didn’t get anything sent. The biggest and best thing that’s happened to us is our little guy Jace, who is now 16 months old. A close second is Ross graduating from Medical School and starting his residency as an Orthopedic Surgeon in Kansas City. Being a resident is definitely keeping him busy, waking up at 4:30 to be to work by 5, and getting home anywhere between 5-8pm (usually the later), is hard on all of us! But we are lucky because he makes us a priority. When he gets home, no matter how tired, he’s excited to see his boys and is ready to play. He has even found time to coach Braden’s soccer team, and now basketball team. He’s pretty much amazing! 

I’m keeping busy myself chasing my 2 little ones around during the day, being a chauffeur to Braden when he gets home from school and trying to keep the house in some kind of order. I’m no longer the primary chorister, but am serving in the Primary Presidency and am loving it. I am happy as can be and so blessed to be a stay at home mom!

Braden is such a stud! He’s now 6 years old and becoming a little man! He is as smart as ever, and absolutely loves school. Once he learns something, he’s got it down, just naturally smart. It’s hard for me to believe he is in first grade! Braden loves to play sports and is in them year round.

Cashel is the goof of the family and is always making us laugh. He is also one of the sweetest boys you’ll meet and is very affectionate. He is now in preschool/joy school that I’m teaching with 5 other families. He is doing well and learning a lot.

Jace Leland is my (not so)baby! He’s got a sweet funny personality. Lately he and Cashel have been playing really well together which makes the days so much better for all of us. He is walking, saying a few words and understanding what we tell him which is fun! He is a momma’s boy, and it is as always good and bad. We love this little guy!

We are so blessed and grateful for this time of year. It’s been nice to be able to teach our children the true meaning of Christmas and finally have Braden be able to begin to understand. We are grateful for our Savior Jesus Christ and His birth and that we can celebrate Him and His life. We love you all and wish you a merry Christmas!
