Our Halloween Week

Our Halloween week started on Wednesday when Braden had his school party. His teacher should be sending pics soon...(parents weren't invited sadly).

He came home with a little pumpkin he had painted, and a monster he made up. The name of the monster...Lindsay...what?!? :) I thought that was pretty funny! His pumpkin and monster:

Then that night we had Kat, Carter and Sophia over for pizza shaped like a pumpkin, then we went to the library. There they watched a magic show, made a trick-or-treat bag, and did a little trick-or-treating around the library.

Friday...

We headed over to my Dad's office and all his grand kids came and trick-or-treated all around his office. Definitely got lots of candy there, filled their buckets clear to the top!

That night was the ward Halloween party and trunk-or-treat. Braden was Captain Hook, Cashel was Peter Pan, and I was a make shift Tinkerbell (jeans, green shirt and wings-sadly, no pics) The boys before we left:

Sunday...

Our tasty dinner for the night included, jello worms, bone bread sticks, green spaghetti with eye-meatballs, and a yummy red slush punch! (recipes for the worms and punch will be added to my food blog Recipe Swap Spot soon!)

Braden absolutely loved the dinner, and had fun passing out candy to all the trick or treaters that came by. He really didn't get upset that he wasn't out there doing it. I'm sure it helped that he had all those parties to go to, and had lots of candy waiting for him at home. : )
