One night (late Novemeber) on the way to my parent's place Ross hit a deer that was lying in the road sitting up. Luckily there wasn't too much damage done to the car. A few days later Ross, went hunting with a family friend, Mitch.
Ross hit the buck at 150 yards. It took one step normal, the next jump it's butt went high, and on the 3rd jump it went out of sight and flipped backwards. It's main beam broke off in the ground during the acrobatics. The buck had an unusual rack, long brow tines and hardly any tines after that. It's neck was 35" around, close to 200 lbs. From what I understand, a pretty good shot, and a nice size buck. Ross was excited. :)

When he got home he was eager to show it to Braden, who was super excited to see what daddy had shot. We have an upcoming hunter on our hands, I'm sure.
The next week Ross was drving somwhere in a neighborhood going like 20-25 mph when out of no where, a deer ran into the side of his car. Neither the deer or the are were hurt, it just got up and kept going...very random and pretty funny. When he told us the story I couldn't stop laughing!
THEN another few days later, Ross "got his revenge" when he went hunting with my dad and JD, and got himself another deer.
And I am happy to report that there have been no other deer encounters since...thank goodness! :)

oh my gosh! Thank goodness you are all okay! That is some pretty bad luck to have a deer run into your car ;)
