Trip to the Oregon Coast

Of course we had to be in Oregon during the hottest week of the year. It got over 100 degrees for like 6/7 days straight. So to get out of the heat we took a trip to the Coast. It was SO nice and cool there. I would say the hottest it got that day was 65-68 degrees, much better then sweating like crazy. We went shopping at the outlets, then at the shops at Depot Bay, then we headed to the beach.

All that shopping wore out little Cashel

Braden got to get a special penny from the turn machine.
such a goof

Weather in the 60's, how perfect! I love the last picture, what a cute family. :) And, Braden's face as he's dancing with his penny is hilarious. Love it!

yeah the happy penny face is awesome. so cute. and i'm so glad you guys found some relief at the coast! it was sooo hot. i don't know how people handled it...especially who don't have AC! i'm surprised we didn't venture off to the coast at some point! looks like that's where all the smart people were.
